Daikon and pickled leaves

Harvested the first daikon planted in January, it is medium size. It is good to harvest regularly as they grow big, this year's plan, is to sow small quantity and harvest regularly throughout the months.

When Daikon is young, the leaves are tender, I pickle in salt and miso for a day, still bright green, soft but has a crunch, and a mild turnip flavor.
