Fried sticky rice balls

One of my favorite snack, but have not made at home because of the oil needed to fry them. Thought of using this Bruno Takoyaki plate to do the cooking, like 24 mini woks, easy to manage, each one fry one ball. The result is very good, crispy and thin, just need to make them small.

Fried black sesame sticky rice balls

1. Make a dough with sticky rice flour and water.

2. Form balls with a filling of your choice, I used black sesame paste.

3. Wet the ball in water, roll on sesame to stick well.

4 Fill Takoyaki plate with 1/3 oil, at medium heat, cook the rice balls, turning regularly for them to swell to double the original size.
