Had a one night staycation with school friends in the north west coast of New Territories, a good way to see more of Hong Kong and spend time together. Found a few things to do in that area, first is to visit the sights along this Heritage Trail, history of the Tang's family in Hong Kong, moved here since the 16th century.
Surprisingly lots of buildings to see, pagoda, temples and houses, I guess the best preserved in town, and in the best building style of that era, few hundred years ago.
The big houses are impressive, built with green bricks and wooden beams, with three tiered buildings joined by two internal courtyards. A lot of carved wood panels used as windows and doors.
