The whirlpools, forms as 2 opposing currents meet at that area of the sea, a special natural phenomenon.
It is near a bridge that joins Shikoku near Tokushima to another island, on the way to the mainland. A walkway is built below the bridge for viewing this whirlpool, or join a boat trip.

We do not see a big whirlpool, but it is wonderful to walk on such structure for the viewing, and on a bright sunny day.
