An
hour’s drive from Palma, to a rocky slim peninsula stretching out into
the ocean. Steep cliffs going straight down to fantastic clear blue sea.
The narrow road with many hairpin turns is close to private cars during
peak tourist season from June to September.
A short 2hrs return hike down a pine forest to a secluded bay, accessible only by walking or from a boat, refreshing water.
Then
drive to nearby Alcudia, an UNESCO town, with wall around, for the well preserved
buildings, all from the same era, with the same honey tone stones and
straw colour roof tiles. Very pleasant to wander around.
