Lan Ha Bay
The next day we went to Cat Ba Island National Park and
do a hike up Viet Hai Navy Hill, the highest point on the island. The
steep climb 2km straight up rocky rough path is very challenging,
normally I won’t want to attempt to do it. The panoramic views of Lan Ha
Bay on one side and Ha Long Bay on the other side are memorable.
During free time, we use the kayak provided by the Homestay to paddle around the area.
Meals are provided by the Homestay, unfortunately tend to be mild tasting dishes catered to western tourists.
