Wild cherry

5 years ago when we bought this house, while working on complete renovation, we started with planting hedge on the border with our neighbour. We know well that trees take a few years to establish and the earlier to start the planting the better.

We have selected a lot of local trees, including many fruit bearing wild trees like hazelnut, crap apple and wild cherry.

The cherry trees have grown huge and for the first time bear a lot of flowers and fruits. The berries are still green now, and we can see a lot of birds, Starlings/Crows hovering around everyday to check their ripeness. Have a feeling that we may not have any hope to taste any wild cherry.
