Getting to the top of a hill is a the way to enjoy 360 degree view of Lofoten's 3D landscape. Picked the one going up Hoven hill at Gimsoy island, being not too hard and have a good view.
It is worth the 2.5 hours return trip, with a few steep sections, so many different land and seascapes to enjoy.
Go round the island the other way round to get back, just to see more of the charming autumn colours and mountains. Out of the moon to see amazing reflections on super calm water.
