I always know that nettle leaves are nutritious, with iron, mix of oils and minerals. It is only in Ireland that I learned that the seeds are equally healthy to eat, probably nettle grows well in the cool moist weather, and so very easy to harvest the seeds.

Cut the plants that have a lots of fully grown green seeds, give them a few good shakes to remove all the hanging on wildlife. Dry for a few days, turning over everyday. Rub off the seeds and dry in a 40˚C oven for an hour.

The recommended dose is a teaspoon in the morning, there is not much taste, I simply put them on a piece of buttered toast.
