A rare blue sky, instantly make one wants to get out, decided to head to Cahir, near the famous salmon river Suir.

Most, if not all Irish cities and towns have rivers within the boundary, but those with rivers that pass through the middle always end up a better place. Buildings are more tidy, less empty shops, more modern, trendy feel, and Cahir is one of them.
Not just the river is in the centre, there is an old castle right next to it, with snow white geese hanging around.
River Suir is wide and beautifully presented here, stone arched bridge, wide and curved weir, salmon pass, not just good for the eyes, for fishing but also good for kayaking.
Near by is St Patrick's Well, with an old spring long used by locals, and missionary came around 5th AD and use that place as a preaching ground, hence the name.

Inside a forest, a series of large stone steps lead down to the well, and when you see the setting, the mind quiets down. An unusual uneven oval shaped shallow pool, with a 5th AD stone cross, a little lawn on one side and trees around, gentle water flowing sound, such a peaceful place.
