Founded as a Benedictine Abbey nearly a thousand years ago, subsequently enlarged to the current Cathedral.
There are volunteers inside offering guided tour of the Cathedral at 11am. An hour long explanations of the history behind the various era, and a lot of decorative details that I would otherwise miss.

Also joined a paid tour to the top of the tower. Whenever possible, I like to climb to the top of towers, for the experience of seeing the inside of ancient buildings, and further rewarded by a good panoramic view from the top.
