Touring Norway - Day 0

In four days, took two ferries, driven across northern France, Belgium, Germany and Denmark, to reach the southern tip of Norway at Kristiansand to start the tour.

Kristiansand is a ferry terminal town, but has some nice old buildings and style. Walked round the town, checked the small fish market and a big supermarket to see the prices of food. Surprisingly with all the warning of being an expensive country, prices of fish, local fruit and vegetables are similar to Ireland. They can grow cherry here, strawberry and loganberry are so sweet. Local people speak very good English, has good manner in a relaxed way.

Driving west from Kristiansand, the landscape changes as we reached the UNESCO Magma Geopark at Flekkerfjord. From normal farmland and forest to purplish bare rocky hills, with rivers and lakes dotted around.

Stayed near Ana Sira town.
