Early morning views of the lake is always charming.
Drove to Sandalsfossen for a walk up 590 steps that were built in the old days to get up to the top of waterfall to channel water to serve the sawmill.
Powerful multi layers waterfall against the purplish rock.
Drove along route 520 inland, cross the mountain pass to Roldal. What a drive, waterfalls everywhere, hills of all shapes and eye catching rock formations.
Went to Roldal to see the 12th C wooden church, one of the the few surviving ones that is still in use. Admired the lively decorations.
Started to rain heavily, drove to Kinsarvik, parked next to the fjord for the night.
