We stayed next to a roaring river, a mini gorge.
Drove from Ulvik to Voss, on the way, without wind, saw beautiful reflections of small towns along the fjords.
Saw the sign for Skjervsfossen waterfall, another big, long one, went there for the hike up a flight of stone stairs repaired by Sherpas’ from Nepal. Powerful water tumbling down the mountain.
Voss, a good size city, capital of adventure sports, skiing, kayaking, paragliding, mountain biking, hiking etc.
Took the gondola up the 800m mountain to have a panoramic view, and a short hike up there. It was a 7 minutes ride for euro 44 return, the scenery is not that spectacular, do not feel very worthwhile.
Drove fast Flam and stopped for the night next to a river at the beginning of mountain route 50.
